We're thrilled to unveil the BRK Sonoran air rifle, a groundbreaking collaboration among the engineering pros from Airguns of Arizona, SubMOA, and BRK. Starting from the solid foundation of the BRK Sahara—renowned for its spot-on accuracy, top-notch build, and reasonable cost—the Sonoran evolves into something truly exceptional, much like a desert oasis springing to life.
At its core, the Sonoran features a premium 25-inch, 15mm diameter SubMOA .22 caliber barrel, crafted with single-point cut rifling. With a .218 bore, 1:16" twist rate, and an unchoked design, it delivers outstanding performance whether you're shooting pellets or slugs. This barrel hails from the same SubMOA workshop that clinched victory in the demanding 100-yard finals at the 2024 Extreme Benchrest event, outshining global leaders in precision.
This unique .22 caliber setup in the Sonoran harnesses cutting-edge, tailor-made barrel innovations for elite-level accuracy. We've also included a custom-designed pellet probe that ensures smooth loading into the barrel's throat, boosting precision while making O-ring maintenance a breeze. Every Sonoran ships with a refined trigger tune and subtle polish for optimal responsiveness and crisp shot delivery.
Customization is key: tweak the Huma regulator and hammer spring to suit everything from casual backyard sessions to serious long-distance hunting or competitions. Plus, an adjustable port fine-tunes power output even more. Out of the box, it includes a 480cc carbon fiber tank, an 11-shot magazine, Picatinny rails for scopes and bipods, and a sleek desert tan finish on the stock and shroud.
Tuned by the AOA experts, it offers about 60 shots at 50 foot-pounds of energy. For those wanting more, an optional upgrade pushes it to 65 ft-lbs or scales it to 55 ft-lbs for 70 shots from a 300-bar, 580cc tank—but this premium customization and tank swap adds to the price due to the hands-on craftsmanship involved.
